Copper and Red Agate Gemstone Slave Bracelet: Design Contest Entry

by Jen on November 25, 2011

I’ve been creating my unique slave bracelets for a little over two years now. My designs continue to evolve, and I still love learning new techniques for combining wire, chainmail and beads.

This copper wire and red agate gemstone slave bracelet is a gorgeous design that I’m particularly proud of. So I have decided to enter it into the Metal Beads, Wirework or Chain design contest held by Fire Mountain Gems, where I purchase many of my supplies, like the natural copper wire I used to create this piece.

While the separate design elements of copper wire scrolls, bead connectors and wire wrapped ring are fairly simple on their own, I think the combination of these elements, along with the fiery, warm red agate beads creates an elegant and exotic look. Now let’s hope the nice folks over at FMG feel the same! This is the first time I’ve ever submitted my work for a contest, wish me luck!
